A Passion for the Possible. Excerpts from the Third Conference on Hirschman Legacy
This book collects contributions from the Third Conference on Hirschman Legacy, held in Berlin, 24-25 October 2019. Having converged on Albert’s native town, a group of people coming from different continents attempted at expressing what they had been able to learn from his life and work in a wide range of theoretical and practical topics; and also how, inspired by him, they managed in addressing some… uncharted territories. The book is organized around some of Albert’s ideas, and is divided into the following sections: Welcome back Albert!; Business and Development; “Getting Ahead Collectively”; Un-Official and Official Europe; Possible World Outlooks; Reconsidering Albert Hirschman.
